This is a special remembrance necklace: Israeli designer Michal Negrin created the crystal heart pendant for HeatherOnEarth.org, a non-profit organization supporting music therapy to pediatric patients who struggle to cope with hospitalization and illness. This heart is created in memory of Heather Fessler, who passed away in 1985 at the age of 4. Her mother Geri made it her life mission to bring the gift of music to sick children in hospitals in the United States and around the world.
Edessa Studio designed the necklace using Michal Negrin's heart as a centerpiece with hand-knotted 4mm amethyst and Swarovski crystal beads as the "chain". Necklace length is 28-inches without a clasp. Necklace is designed to be slipped over the wearer's head.
